The main goal of the boarding school in to help children in their social adaptation. Since 1993/94 academic year a new curriculum and special programs have been developed, in which psycho-physiological peculiarities of children with visual impairment, as well as the level and character of the impairment, are taken into consideration. The school has developed some programs of social interaction and orientation in space, program of special computer training, communication activities, visual perception, adaptive gym activities, program of home education ("Special child"). |

In the music school, functioning within the boarding school, children are taught to uderstand music. Art festivals of the students are regularly hold. |
